Every online marketplace is planning a unique theme for their sale events. Fashion etailer Jabong is celebrating the shopper with its campaign ‘You are the festival’. Happy McgarryBowen has designed an ad campaign that revolves around Jabong’s brand theme ‘Be You’.
The commercial will be shortly aired on all leading TV channels. Print, radio, cinema ads and a social media campaign are also in the wings. The company is looking at an image of an all-inclusive fashion destination to cater to different fashion types.

Everything adding up to Flipkart’s grand plans
Jabong’s sale should add a feather to Flipkart’s cap. The latter has an eye on the top spot of fashion etailer. Towards this it has acquired Myntra and Jabong. The Big Billion Days sale has paid off with the Indian marketplace selling more than Amazon. Flipkart seems to have wisely kept Jabong out of the Big Billion Days, in which Myntra participated. Possibly to test the waters and observe trends.
The company has had a rough year, with dwindling funds and low sales. It looks like it is on recovery mode with the festive sales.
