Marketplaces have numerous programs and policies in place to assist online sellers with the art of online selling. These are meant to help build better online businesses that can meet consumer demand effectively and efficiently. But, as is common in the ecommerce industry, those services meant to take sellers higher up are often the reasons for them falling down.
Amazon Seller Flex was introduced to offer sellers more control over the inventory and the benefit of smooth delivery. IOS was recently informed by an online seller that the service has negative consequences too. And, if these are not taken seriously it could lead to severe repercussions for your business. When we asked other sellers about this program by Amazon, many informed us that they were not aware of Seller Flex.
So, we dug deeper to know what the program was, what sellers expected from it and what sellers actually using the program experienced. Here’s what online sellers had to say:
Amazon Seller Flex is expected to give you control over inventory management, which it does. However, problems can arise when delivery personnel is bad or you incur more cost to manage your stocks, package and process orders. Before joining Amazon Seller Flex, it is best to speak with other sellers about their experiences with the service. Get as much information from the marketplace as possible and take negative experiences as a learning experience.
