All of us following the ecommerce war stories closely know that it’s not just GMV, delivery, product categories and sellers the ecommerce players compete on. They don’t miss out on a chance to out the other even in advertisements!

Flipkart recently launched its #AcchaKiya campaign and has been promoting it on both online and offline media, including TV and outdoor hoardings.

How could Snapdeal stay behind? Their response may not have seemed funny to the Flipkart team, but it surely brought a smirk on all our faces.

This is not the first time Snapdeal and Flipkart engaged in fun banter. Well, fun for us atleast. Flipkart’s Big Billion Day last year turned out to be a major disaster for the ecommerce giant, but the day started off with Snapdeal rubbing Flipkart’s shoulder the wrong way.

That’s just in the papers. The recent trend is of troll wars between ecommerce players. In April this year, Amazon and Zomato engaged in some light and cheeky banter on Twitter.

                                                                   And eBay decided to join in.
