Walmart India extends its online wholesale platform to Rajahmundry, AP

Walmart has extended its B2B ecommerce platform, www.bestprice.in to Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Members of this store can now log on to the platform and purchase all products, which includes fruit, vegetables etc.
Two months ago, the online platform was extended to members of the stores at Guntur and Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh.
“We have received an overwhelming response from our members in Lucknow, Hyderabad, Guntur and Vijayawada and we are certain that members in Rajahmundry too would benefit significantly,” Krish Iyer, president and CEO of Walmart India, said. “The convenience of easy selection and payment along with efficient delivery of quality products at their doorstep are among the few factors that have led to the success of this initiative. We value our members and strive to give them an excellent shopping experience.”
Walmart first extended its B2B ecommerce platform earlier this year in July to members of its Lucknow and Hyderabad Best Price stores. Taking it one step at a time, Walmart seems to be doing well in the wholesale market with sellers.
