Shopclues initiates hassle-free pickup tracking with a Courier Pickup Response Tracker!

Logistics is an integral part of ecommerce. This is exactly why online marketplaces are trying their best to perfect their delivery and warehousing facilities and processes.

Snapdeal and Amazon are concentrating on this aspect of ecommerce to meet demand in a quick and efficient manner.

Shopclues wants to fine tune its logistics process as well. The etailer plans on doing so with the help of a new facility on its Store Manager called – ‘Courier Pickup Response Tracker’. The launch of this feature was announced to Shopclues sellers through an email, last week.

The etailer said the Courier Pickup Response Tracker is expected to enable:

  • Hassle free courier pickup tracking
  • Easy management of order pickups
  • Daily pickup updates

Shopclues seller will receive regular updates on the seller panel, such as:

  • Carrier name
  • Token number
  • Carrier pickup status
  • Remarks

Sellers can then easily confirm pickups , raise tickets and add/remove remarks. Tickets against a courier pickup can be raised if is remarks have not been uploaded by the courier partner. This will be allowed only after the daily courier upload cut off time for the same.

There will be a 24 hour window for Shopclues seller to either confirm or raise a ticket against a pickup. After this time frame has expired, this option will freeze. Preventing sellers from editing remarks as well.
