Effective 7th April 2014, eBay India will make category structure changes based on seller feedback. These changes are for better and smoother customer experience, which in turn will lead to higher sales for sellers.
With a flatter category structure, sellers will be able to list their products more efficiently and quickly, while improving customer experience. The current listings will be automatically moved (if applicable) to the new categories.
