More Than 6 Lakh Small Business Coming Together to Protect Against Foreign E-commerce

6 lakh Indian small business traders have come together at the Asmbhav Summit to stand against the foreign e-commerce platform. Besides, this event will be live on Thursday with an e-commerce giant like Amazon.
Asmbhav means impossible. Tus Asmbhav Summit is well organized by some of the Indian sellers such as All India Mobile Retailers Association (AIMRA), AICPD (All India Consumer Products Distributors Federation), FMCG Distributors and Traders Association, AIOVA (All India Online Vendors Association), FAIDA (Federation of All India Distributors Associations), and many more. Plus, Delhi has also been a part of this organized summit.
As per the statement, Asmbhav Summit plays a round forum for the people or lives for the higher discriminatory and bullying attitude of foreign e-commerce platforms. This new summit will highlight the traders about a variety of challenges and what problems they come across. On this statement, Amazon has not yet responded.
The Asmbhav Summit will come with some of the key points discussed with Dr. Ashwani Mahajan from Swadeshi Jagran Manch. And, there will be a huge panel too and discuss and present some queries. Besides, it will also include the Asmbhav Award, which will stand for people's contribution to the business and merchants.
Simultaneously, the Indian government is working on the structure of e-commerce policy with a flexible framework. For the last few years, Indian e-commerce has been at a peak and attracted more customers on the internet with affordable packages and plans.
As an Indian, all the retailers deserve a playing field to work on. However, this is not approachable these days as most of the nefarious practices are well adapted by foreign retailers.
The AIMRA President, Arvinder Khurana, said that most global retailers are tying up with the leading smartphone companies to get more engagement from their resellers.
Arvinder Khurana further added this type of tie-up is not acceptable as this tie-up is illegal. Because of this illicit tie-up, most Indian retailers are having trouble and facing losses in their business.
One of the spokespeople of AIOVA said many online sellers have come across problems like lack of business and profits, which eventually shut down. Besides, there is huge talk about collective rights and high fees on selling. And, we are trying to bring it down before the public or government.
Conclusion
More than 6 lakh have gathered and taken a stand against the foreign e-commerce giant. With Asmbhav Summit's help, the Indian sellers can now scale up some business, which is shutting down because of the e-commerce giant and their third-party sellers.
