Bluerickshaw Enables Indian Artisans Go Digital

Resultantly, he curated Blurrickshaw, a B2B export platform, an online marketplace especially meant for artisans and organizations to deal with authentic handmade products across the globe, ensuring customers a quality purchase at the right price. He aimed at empowering artisans with technical knowledge to sell their products online at low operational cost on a well-developed ecosystem for global trade.

Launched in 2021, Bluerickshaw was conceived with the core knowledge of deep industry experience in fashion, design & manufacturing with technology. It is setting the business to facilitate small sellers with easy-to-use and direct access to a large pool of international clients, leading the Indian art market to the new age of growth. It bridges the gap between artisans and international customers by improving accessibility and pricing for both parties.

The long-term vision of the platform is to create a B2B2C channel where everyone related in the art dealing can work in sync with each other with an improved inventory-less model with an end-to-end buying solution, connecting and empowering marginal sellers.

The company banks upon the undiscovered talents of Indian artisans and craftsmen staying in the far-off places which are still awaiting the light of international exposure. Brickrickshaw works on a mission to empower artisans who are following their traditional gifts from centuries and thus strengthen India's art map by putting it in the lead position of the global structure. The effort is to empower small businesses of Indian origin to establish their impression on the worldwide art picture through their unique and high-quality artistic sensibility.

Speaking on the impact of the tie, Wadhwa revealed that so far, 45% of sellers have already established their clientele through the platform. The business recently introduced credit to small buyers in partnership with Tazapay, a Singapore-fintech company.

In addition, Bluerickshaw is working to explore alliances and partnerships with various diplomatic missions with trade body organizations across the United States and Canada to become a recognized platform for international art dealings.

Apart from showcasing the conventional Indian art, the platform works especially to feature art and crafts from distinct places in the country, such as block-printed fabrics, leather, and copperware from Rajasthan, warli art of Maharashtra, clay pottery from Khurja, and products from Merino wool from Uttarakhand. 

The platform has an expert quality and authenticity criterion and ensures the best products reach their destination directly from sellers. The platform has transparent and easy payment options and gives full support to track down the transactions between the seller and the buyer.
