Flipkart ties up with Aptech to train sellers in enhancing online selling skills

Home-grown ecommerce player Flipkart is scouting for sellers to increase its seller base to about one lakh by the end of this year. To enable sellers to enhance their skills and techniques, it has tied up with Aptech, global education company, to train sellers with various skill-building programs. The aim is to enable these merchants to excel further in their respective online businesses.
“As India’s largest ecommerce marketplace, our focus is to enhance our sellers’ abilities across the country and facilitate their growth. Our partnership with Aptech will empower our sellers with the required skills to expand their online business and cater to the demand for a wider set of customers,” said Manish Maheshwari, VP & Head – Seller Ecosystem, Flipkart.
Being a training facility, Aptech has the necessary requirements to equip sellers with the following knowledge:
Functioning of marketplace
- Cataloguing
- Order management
- Product promotions
- Quality customer service
The training would be available in more than 30 cities including the following:
- Delhi
- Jaipur
- Mumbai
- Bangalore
- Indore
- Pune
- Chennai
- Hyderabad
