Mobile payments easier on Jabong with MobiKwik

The strengthening relation between ecommerce and mobile phone devices is nothing new. The growing popularity of the mobile phone as an ecommerce device has already been creating a buzz in the industry.

Jabong has now partnered with MobiKwik to ensure that customers who wish to make mobile payments to shop can do so easily. In fact, it is also offering a 30% discount on a minimum purchase of Rs 999 for those who use the MobiKwik mobile payment service. Also, a special cash back offer is being given to customers who use the service betwenn January 29 to 31 this year.

Praveen Sinha, Co-Founder and MD, Jabong explains this move, “With more than 50 % of our business coming through mobile, it was vital to work on a solution that makes the whole process and thereby experience, seamless.”

What does this signify?

This is yet another move that proves how important mcommerce is becoming. Last year we had predicted that ecommerce would soon evolve into mcommerce, where people would access the shopping websites mostly from their mobile phones. This move from Jabong goes to prove that this prediction is not too far from becoming true!
