Ecommerce has come a long way in India. It was valued at USD 16 billion in 2013, which was an eight-fold growth in just four years. When eBay acquired Baazee.com in 2004 to kickstart ecommerce in India, we wonder if they foresaw this!

Although ecommerce took a while to take off in India, customers have now warmed up to the idea of online shopping and investors eyeing more potential players to invest in.
