eBay introduces new payment remittance system with Remittance Member Status for sellers

eBay India has introduced a new system for remitting payments which translates into longer payment cycles for some sellers. Effective 7th July 2014, eBay India will remit payments to sellers as per the Remittance Member Status assigned to them.
How is your Member Status determined and assigned?
eBay will assign your member status as Platinum or Silver Member Remittance Status, according to the Seller Standard of your seller account.
- Platinum Member Remittance Status is assigned to Top Rated Sellers (eTRS) and Above Standard sellers
- Silver Member Remittance Status is assigned to Below Standard sellers
In case you haven’t been evaluated for Seller Standard yet, either because you are newly registered on PaisaPay or haven’t received required ratings yet, you would receive the Silver Member Remittance Status.
How does Member Status affect your remittances?
The time taken to release remittance into your registered bank account will depend on your assigned Remittance Member Status. Number of days is determined by the day of item delivery confirmation.

How will you get to know your Remittance Member Status and any update regarding the same?
eBay will intimate you via email about your current Remittance Member Status that has been assigned to you.
Periodic evaluations are done (by the 25th of every month) and accordingly, a change in your status (if any) will also be intimated to you.
You can yourself view your status on your “My PaisaPay Summary” page.
