Amazon to launch luxury beauty category, from Oct 12th

Joining the list of etailers selling premium beauty products is global ecommerce giant, Amazon with the launch of the luxury beauty category (as informed to sellers via email). Effective 12th October 2015, the following brands will be available on the platform:

Standard referral rate of 12% will be applicable for products falling in this category. Current products, which would fall into the category, will be migrated and charged at the new rate.

To sell luxury products on Amazon, you need to:

• Reach out to seller support with brand/distributor’s authorization letter

• List products under the corresponding brands once you have the necessary permissions in place
