eBay updates Shipping policy for four categories in jewellery

eBay India has updated its Shipping and Delivery Policy for PaisaPay items for four categories, based on seller feedback about convenience and practicality. As per the policy, once buyer makes the payment and the order gets confirmed, seller has to enter valid shipping details as the next step in order processing.

While earlier, seller had to enter valid shipping details within 3 days (for deliveries within India), eBay has now extended this window to 10 days for the below categories:

• Diamond jewellery

• Gold jewellery

• Sterling silver jewellery

• Gemstone jewellery

Items in the above mentioned categories are “made to order” so they would require more time to be made, thus increasing the shipping time. In order to reduce friction in transactions and make it more convenient for sellers, eBay has updated the time frame for entering shipping details.
