Amazon launches Morning Delivery service for late night shoppers

Amazon India has launched an intriguing and unique 'Morning Delivery' service where buyers can select from thousands of available items and shop up to midnight before having the goods delivered to their home by 11am the very next morning. The latest innovative endeavour has been implemented just in time to add a further sparkle to the ongoing festive sales.

The service is currently available in:

  • Mumbai,
  • Delhi /NCR,
  • Bengaluru
  • Hyderabad

The 'Morning Delivery' service can be availed by customers after paying a flat charge of Rs. 120 per order, regardless of the quantity. If the buyer places an order by 11am then Amazon can also deliver the product the same evening. At the moment this service is available for residential orders.

Amazon encourages shoppers to type their pin code on the product detail page at to see if the service is available to them. Whilst checking out buyers can also redeem of this service from the list of delivery options that are present. The Morning Delivery service is applicable on goods Fulfilled by Amazon.

“In the past, we have pioneered Same-Day, One-Day, Two-Day, Release Day and Sunday delivery in India in response to specific customer needs to make their shopping experience more enjoyable. We receive high traffic during afternoon or in the evening post office hours. Earlier these customers had to wait till next evening to receive their orders with One-Day delivery. With’s Morning Delivery service, our customers are now assured of delivery between 8am to 11am the next morning across lakhs of products. We are excited to launch this service in time for the festive season so that customers can benefit from a variety of fast and reliable delivery options and enjoy shopping on,” said Akshay Sahi, Head Customer Experience, Amazon India.
