ShopClues introduces chat feature for direct seller-customer interaction

Ecommerce Marketplace, ShopClues has launched ShopClues Connect, an innovative chat feature which allows customers and sellers to communicate with one another, and discuss important insights regarding a product. It is currently available for android phones.

The customer can query information which includes:

  • Product specification
  • Cost
  • Stock status
  • Delivery time
  • Warranty details
  • Return policy

The customer can contact the seller via the ShopClues app to which the seller can reply by using the chat panel of their store manager feature. When seller responds, customer gets a notification of the same. And if the seller misses it on the panel, an email is sent as reminder.

Going forward, Shopclues intends to introduce an app so that online sellers can chat directly with customers through their mobile phones. At a time when customer attention can get easily diluted, this sort of personal attention from sellers/marketplace sure could keep them hooked to the platform, don’t you think?
