About IOS

IndianOnlineSeller.com or IOS for short is a publication and a community dedicated to serving the small businesses on India that sell online.

The small retailer has been the backbone of Indian retail industry for the longest time. Only 8% of the Indian retail industry is organized, everything else is small retailers. E-commerce in India has not represented this entrepreneurial culture. Till now it has mostly been large, venture funded companies taking a dig at e-commerce. To their credit, they have prepared the market.

yesterday i received a mail from snapdeal that you you have a VOI account with snapdeal and there is a recovery of 26000 so please find the account details attached and deposit the same.
I wish to know how can they derive the recovery account since its been almost 1 year since we have stopped working with them on VOI.
Also that mail stated no explanations why the recovery is being generated.
Is snapdeal just generating the revenues by sending a threat email of recovery to its sellers?

    Hello Flipkart Sellers,

Do not invest much amount or be cautious with Flipkart as they have deactivated our account on the basis that we are a “fake seller” despite selling our own manufactured product (mobile cases). We furnished all documents related to brand, provided the Trade Mark application no still people at customer support do not understand the Trade Mark process.

  17. Hi there. I am Vandana Karha, the CEO of playmart.in, which is India’s first exclusive online marketplace for Sports and Fitness category of products. We launched in Jan 2016 and the response that we have got until now has been very encoraging. I was wanting to be a member of Indianonlineseller to see how we can be mutually benefit by being associated with you.

  18. Post buy out of Jabong, Myntra, now Flipkart is the undisputed # No.1 leader in premium Fashion, Apparel & Footwear sales. Amazon, Paytm & Snapdeal will take more time to compete in this category. Really Amazon has to come-up with some diffusion in innovation to take-up with Flipkart with long term strategy in place. Otherwise, it would be very very up hill task for Amazon to achieve this objective.

Hi Team, we are a SME engaged in manufacturing of Women Garments — InnerWears on sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal & others. We have been into business since 2014 with brand name — Madaam

We were in top 1-5 brands on Amazon India till few days back. But, we were slashed down & account suspended because of intentional act by Catalogue Team who stated reason as not according to prescribed terms.
But, in actual this is happening just to us as other sellers selling same/similar products never got suppressed.

Previously also we faced this issue with Amazon India when some of our listings were suppressed. We have sent several emails to the concerned team, but they are not reverting. So, can you suggest us some solution as how to go for this.
