[Infographic] GOSF 2014 on Day 2: A bigger success

Yesterday we shared trends about Day 1 of the Great Online Shopping Festival. Day 2 seems to have been an even bigger success, with an exponential 500% increase in number of transactions as compared to normal days.

Day 1 had clocked only a 450% increase, which means Day 2 has stepped the sale up by a notch. Have a look at this great infographic from CashKaro.com, which explains the GOSF Day 2 trends in a simple nutshell:

  • Volume of transactions substantially higher than Day 1 of GOSF
  • Products from Rs 299 corner is the most popular choice
  • According to the statistics, a large majority of the shoppers are between the ages of 18-34
  • Flipkart’s absence from is encouraging sales from other marketplaces
